Musikalische Erinnerungskultur

Im Projekt “Musikalische Erinnerungskultur” möchte der Deutsche Chorverband (DCV) praktische Impulse für chormusikalische Erinnerungsarbeit in Chören und Vereinen geben.

Im Rahmen des Projekts lobt der DCV in Zusammenarbeit mit dem deutsch-israelischen Forschungsvorhaben „Projekt 2025 – Arche Musica“ und Schott Music einen Arrangementwettbewerb zum Deutsch-Jüdischen Liederbuch von 1912 aus. Ziel des Wettbewerbs ist, Impulse für eine aktive chormusikalische Erinnerungskultur und Beschäftigung mit jüdischer Musikkultur anzuregen. Darüber hinaus werden unterschiedliche Veranstaltungs- und Begegnungsformate zum Themenkomplex entwickelt und auch Materialien für Schulen und Chöre erarbeitet, um eine nachhaltige Wirkung zu erzielen. 

Das Projekt wird gefördert aus Mitteln des Bundesministeriums des Inneren und für Heimat sowie der Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien.

In their new project on culture of remembrance and music, the German Choral Association (DCV) aims to provide hands-on inspiration for choral remembrance work in choirs and associations.

As part of the project, the DCV, in collaboration with the German-Israeli research project “Project 2025 - Arche Musica” and Schott Music, organizes a competition for choir arrangements centered around the German-Jewish Songbook of 1912. The aim of the competition is to stimulate an active choral culture of remembrance and engagement with Jewish musical culture. In addition, various event and meeting formats on the topic will be developed and materials for schools and choirs will be produced in order to create a lasting effect.

The Projekt is co-funded by the Ministry of the Interior (Bundesministeriums des Inneren und für Heimat) as well as the Cultural Ministry (Beauftragte der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien).
